HGV Class 1/ LGV CE driver - Newark (BBBH109030718) Newark, England
Our Nottinghamshire-based client requires HGV Class 1/ LGV CE driver for full-time opportunity.
General haulage throughout the UK, palletised goods.
Monday to Friday, couple of nights out per week.
Clean trucks, new vehicle fleet.
Job purpose:
Undertake deliveries and collections, general haulage and palletised goods to sites throughout the UK.
Duration:
Full time permanent opportunity, through temp to perm route.
Desirable Competencies:
This role is open to suitable HGV Class 1/ LGV CE with at least 12 months experience in general haulage.
Familiarity with tautliners, walking floor, rigid trailers, long loads etc are essential.
You will be minimum 23 years old with at least 6 months continuous driving in the last 2 years.
You will have no greater than 6 points on your HGV / LGV licence.
Must speak and understand good English.
Hours & Salary (PAYE):
- Approx. £29,000 - £34,000 per annum, including pension and holidays.
- Full Time/permanent, Monday to Friday days
- Will involve regular nights out, 2-3 per week.
