HGV Class1/LGV CE ADR Tanker Driver
PDRS have immediate positions available for HGV Class1/LGV CE ADR Tanker Drivers to undertake trunking of Bitumen products from Willenhall, West Midlands to the refinery in Eastham, Cheshire.
Full ADR for tanks required to allow general product delivery opportunities after Bitumen season comes to an end in the winter, whilst also giving the options for deliveries of other various General Products.
Duration:
Ongoing agency contract plus possible future GP contracts, annual requirement.
HGV Class1/LGV CE ADR Tanker Driver, nights
The role:
- Trunking of Bitumen products/empties from Willenhall, West Midlands to Eastham, Cheshire.
- Maintaining very high industry standards of safety, health and security.
- Maintaining strong legal compliance for road transport legislation.
- Be able to work in an unsupervised environment.
- Have a responsible attitude.
Required skills and experiences:
- You will be minimum 25 years old with a minimum 2 years HGV 1 licence
- Valid full ADR certification for tanks (excluding cat 1 & 7)
- You will have no greater than 3 points on your HGV / LGV licence
- You will have more than 6 month’s valid ADR certification.
- You will have excellent Health and Safety knowledge
- You will have excellent customer service skills
- You will benefit from previous experience with Tankers or general Tankers experience however the client will provide you with appropriate training, product familiarisation and ‘product sign off’ where required.
Please note that we are NOT able to accept candidates with DD, DR, IN or CU80 endorsements
The working week:
- Shifts are Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday.
- Start times between 12.00 & 14.00
- 9-12 hour shifts, no Saturdays
- Overtime shifts available
- 2 - 3 tanks per day(drop & swap)
Salary:
LTD/Umbrella
- Basic day Rate £12.50 per hour
- Overtime £19.40 after 9.5 hours
- Sundays £26.20 per hour
PAYE
- Basic day Rate £10.50 per hour
- Overtime £15.75 after 9.5 hours
- Sundays £21.00 per hour
