Class 1 & 2 HIAB driver, lorry mounted crane, Nottingham required for site work. Ongoing temporary contract, potential perm for the right person.

Job role

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced HIAB operator, with HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 licence, to work with one of our clients based on the outskirts of Nottingham.


You will be operating a TMC crane with load capacity up to 220 tonnes per metre, with crane mounted on tractor unit, 8x4 with manual shift.
Generally you will pick up the unit and drive to site, operate the crane as required and then return to base or tramp out if required.
Some work with a drag trailer and Moffett operation may be required.

Requirements

Will need licences to operate lorr-mounted HIAB crane with grad (no hook).
Rotating Grab with attachments
Have unlimited HIAB licenced, weight capability greater than 50 tonnes per metre
Static line & remote operation
Working on construction sites. (CSCS card or ALMI would be an advantage).
Some nights out as required, tramping or in paid accommodation.

Hours/Salary

Monday - Friday, days; 8 hours minimum, some nights out as required
PAYE rate = £10.50/hour,
Ltd/Umbrella = £12.40/hour.
Nights out up to £25.00 paid.

We support applications from PAYE, LCC and umbrella formatted drivers. All applicants will have to operate to minimum standards and must be over 25 years old, have held their HGV LGV licence for at least two years, max 6 points and must have driver CPC card
