Business Analyst - Data Management Software, Utilities, Energy 

Business analyst sought by this leading software organisation, developing a range of data management products and services predominantly for the utilities market place 

Working closely in alignment with the development teams and key organisational stakeholders, the main responsibilities include producing documentation and functional specifications for use by the development and test teams, UAT, user training , interpreting industry based requirements and identifying new opportunities for their data management products. 

You will be responsible for producing and maintaining business process maps using As-Is, To-Be and UML.

You will have a good understanding of change control processes, configuration management and project planning and will have a real interest in learning complex software products. 

You will have an excellent track record as a Business Analyst and will ideally but not essential have a background in the utilities sector having worked for an energy based organisation. You should have an understanding of the full development lifecycle and ideally have worked with delivering data management type products, although training will be provided 

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, this will suit a proven business analyst with a strong IT technical background and a desire to work in a progressive, rewarding environment. 

Easy to get to via the local motorway network and commutable from Preston, Warrington, Wigan, Blackburn, Manchester, etc.
