Title: Multilingual Service Desk Analyst (German and Dutch speaking)
Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 (experience dependant) + 7.5% shift allowance
Due to increased business, a leading organisation based in Barnsley are currently seeking a Multilingual Service Desk Analyst to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity, for someone with fluent English, Dutch and German language skills and experience in an IT helpdesk role, to join a successful and growing business.
The Role:
The post-holder will be responsible for providing service desk based support in an efficient and customer focused manner; providing a customer focused service which is responsive to the customers needs.
Responsible to the Service Desk Assistant Manager for carrying out front line support via the service desk including:
- Customer engagement using the appropriate language base
- Logging, monitoring and resolving requests for support
- The resolving of requests for support at point of contact wherever possible
- The referral of requests for support to appropriate sections where immediate resolution cannot be provided
- Ownership of the fault will remain with the post-holder
- Liaison with the customer in relation to incident progression
- Perform network and Exchange administration functions
- Remote installation and configuration of PC software
- Maintain an awareness of developments in ICT
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and users regarding procurement, faults and equipment on repair
- Maintain a high level working knowledge of all relevant hardware, software and diagnostic tools etc
- Offer customers advice on ICT issues (procedures, specifications, costs) and recommendations on new technologies
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for someone with fluent English, Dutch and German language skills with proven telephone based customer service skills and an excellent knowledge of IT systems. Ideally you will have previously worked in an IT helpdesk environment with an ITIL awareness, SDI Service Desk Analyst accreditation and Microsoft certification. You will need to have a technical ability in order to assist in resolving problems, knowledge of network communication technology and network administration and an ability to manage internal and external relationships.
The successful candidate may be required to undertake an enhanced CRB check and ideally will possess their own transport.
