Faststream are working with an international Ship management company working within the Tanker market. they are currently searching for a new team member to join their experienced knowledgeable team in Nigeria.
the position will be responsible, in conjunction with the Marine Manager (Offshore / Oil and Gas), for implementing and maintaining a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operational standard in compliance with the Offshore/ Oil and Gas HSSEQ System as well as International Marine regulations and applicable client and charterer’s standards for all assigned vessels.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing compliance with procedures and all applicable rules, regulations and industry codes, for assigned vessels/Facilities.
Maintain regular contact with vessel Masters / OIM for all HSE and operational matters.
Act as liaison with assigned Vessels/Facilities and authorities for flag & port state matters.
Responsible for ensuring assigned vessels are maintained up to date with all applicable publications, charts, and industry codes and guidelines.
Only candidates who have previous experience as a Senior Officer on FSO / FPSO will be considered.
