Senior Site Engineer - Permanent 

Location: Merseyside 

£40k to £46k Plus Package (Negotiable) 

TSA-Ltd currently have an exciting opportunity for Senior Site Engineer to join this successful contractor on a permanent basis. The role is based in the Merseyside region and will be working on heavy Civil Engineering projects. 

Company: My client a reputable well established Civil Engineering Contractor have secured work in the Merseyside area which will be ongoing for approx. 2 years Minimum the value of projects ranges from £5m to £20m and includes: Construction of new Roads, RC Structures, Marine Works, Service Diversions. 

As Senior Site Engineer you will be required to:

• Maintain and interpret site drawings, topographical drawings, construction drawings, re
• Setting out from the contract drawings/information, carry out surveys as and when required
• Be able to use robotic instruments, GPS instruments, lasers, levels etc
• Ensure works are carried out as per the contract drawings and specification
• Maintain records, site diary, quality assurance documentation, reports and records
• Provide as built information
• Ensure gangs are working correctly, implement and maintain permit to dig and other relevant permits
• Communicate with the site manager/rest of the site team and assist with the organising of site
• Be able to attend meetings/deal with the client/inspectors if the site manager cannot attend
• Be a point of contact for the clerk of works/client/gangers/sub-contractors to assist with the progression of works and carry out any inspections required

   

Requirements: 

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent 
• CSCS
• SMSTS or SSSTS 
• Strong experience in heavy Civil Engineering projects including: Roads & Drainage, RC Structures , Marine Works
