Senior Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor (Medium Sized) - Design & Build - Up to £325 per day
About the Client
A growing Main Contractor who specialise in delivering design and build projects in the leisure and commercial sectors across the North and North West. They have an excellent reputation in their field, with long standing relationships with key clients and consultants in the region. They get repeat business from their clients and aim to offer an excellent service when delivering the projects. Typical projects range in value from £4 - £10m and consist of new build hotels, and other Leisure Sector projects.
About the Role
You will join as a Quantity Surveyor and will take commercial ownership of a project in Manchester City Centre, with a value of £6.5m. You will spend 4 days per week based on site as a Project QS, and the other day working from the Head Office.You will be responsible for sub contractor procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts. You will see the project through from start to handover, working alongside an experienced site team, and reporting in tot he Commercial Director.
What you Need to Succeed
You must be educated with a degree in Quantity Surveying and have a minimum of 5yrs experience working for a medium sized design & build main contractor. You must have experience taking commercial ownership of design & build projects ranging in value from £4m - £10m.
