Site Manager - Fit out of a Bespoke Cinema - Nottingham - Up to £300 per day - Freelance
About the Client
A market leading Main Contractor who have been established for over 20yrs and deliver new build, fit out and refurbishments of pubs, bars and restaurants across the North and North West. They have an excellent reputation in the Leisure sector, with long standing relationships with key clients and consultants in the region. They get repeat business from their clients and aim to offer an excellent service when delivering the projects. They are setting up a new division within the business to focus on high end, high value fit out's. Projects will be in excess of £1m and within 150 miles of Manchester. These are predominantly high end 4-5* Hotels, but also include cinemas, restaurants and other leisure projects.
About the Role
You will join as a Senior Site Manager and take ownership of high spec cinema fit out project. The project value is in excess of £1m. You will be Number 1 on the Project and oversee the full scheme from start to handover. It is a 30 week programme with other projects are typically within 150 miles of Manchester. You must be flexible to work away from home if needed. You will ensure that projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the highest standard of finish.
What you need to succeed
You must be honest, hardworking and have a proven track record of success. You must have a proven track record of delivering fitout's to high class bars & restaurants and have checkable references for such projects. Ideally you will have a trade background in carpentry and joinery, and you must have valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. You must have experience working in the leisure sector delivering fitouts of hotels, bars & restaurants and be happy to work away when required. These roles will suit Site Managers who are ready to take the step up to Project Managers, and have a strong track record of delivering high end fit outs.
