General Foreman - Groundworks - £30,000 - 40,000 plus package

A well established group of companies with award winning specialist in house divisions covering RC Frame, Groundworks, Multi storey Basements, Demolition and Design & Build. Turnover for 2018 will exceed £120m with project values ranging from £100k to £45m. They are experiencing a sustained period of growth in their Northern Home Counties region, resulting in an opportunity for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join their operational team.
About the Role
You will come from a background in Groundworks and have 5-10yrs experience working as a Groundworks Supervisor or General Foreman. You will be capable of taking on man management responsibility on groundworks packages across the Northern Counties region and helping deliver them on time, safely and within budget.. You will have experience working as a General Foreman in a site team consisting of a Site or Project Manager, Site Engineer and Operatives. You will be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to on your sites and that they are delivered on time and within budget.
What you need to succeed
You must have a minimum of 5yrs experience in a Supervisory role and come from a background in Groundworks. You will be educated to a HNC Level, and have a proven track record of delivering Groundworks packages. You must have a CSCS Card and SMSTS or SSSTS, and be familiar with the construction processes in the sectors. You will be a strong man manager and be capable of running teams on sites across the region.
