About the Company
A well established group of companies with award winning specialist in house divisions covering RC Frame, Groundworks, Multi storey Basements, Demolition and Design & Build. Turnover for 2018 will exceed £120m with project values ranging from £100k to £45m. They are experiencing a sustained period of growth in their Northern Home Counties region, resulting in an opportunity for an experienced QS to join their commercial team.
About the Role
You will come from a background in RC Frame and Groundworks and have 3-5yrs experience working as an Assistant QS or an Intermediate QS. You will be capable of taking on QS responsibilities on 2-3 projects concurrently, reporting in to the Commercial Manager. You will be able to work from drawings and have experience in pricing RC & Groundworks packages, including materials and sub contractors.
What you need to succeed
You must be educated to a degree level in Quantity Surveying and have 3-5yrs industry experience. You must be a strong negotiator and be capable of taking responsibility for projects on your own, as well as working alongside a commercial and site team when required.
