General Foreman - Groundworks Package - Residential Development - Alderley Edge - Up to £220 per day

A civil engineering and groundworks sub contractor who work with a number of main contractors on residential schemes across the Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire regions.
About the Role
You will join as a General Foreman and be responsible for the day to day running of a £3m groundworks package on a flag ship residential development in Alderley Edge. You will be responsible for ensuring that Health & Safety is adhered to by the direct and sub contract employees, which consist of a few gangs of plant drivers and groundworkers undertaking the works. There will be a Site Engineer and Contracts Manager who visit the site throughout the week and you will report in to the CM with any updates or issues.
What you need to succeed
You must have a background in civil engineering and groundworks and have a proven track record of working in a Foreman / Managerial role on a similar scheme. You must have SMSTS, CSCS and first Aid Certificates and be able to provide recent references.
