About the Client
A reputable construction and fit out Contractor with offices in Scotland and London and a presence on sites across the UK and Europe. They specialise in delivering car showrooms (New builds & Fitouts) here and abroad, and have an orderbook stretching beyond 2019 with their long term clients.
About the Role
You will join as a Site Manager and take ownership of a large fit out project in Farnnorough - project value in the region of £3m. You will be responsible for ensuring the scheme runs to programme and that H&S is adhered to by all contractors and sub contractors. You will manage a large workforce consisting of multiple trades and general labour staff and report into a Director who will visit the site on a two weekly basis. You will be assisted by a Finishing Manager or GF and be responsible for chairing meetings and liaising with the end client.
What you Need to Succeed
Firstly you must have valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid Certificates. Ideally you will come from a background in joinery & carpentry and be educated tio HNC / HND Level in Construction. You must have experience in delivering fitout and refurbishments (ideally to car showrooms) from £500k-£3m in value. You must be confident in client facing roles, and be capable of leading site meetings.
