A reputable civil engineering contractor based int he North West who specialise in delivering vital infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, structures, hydro power and rail. They have been established for over 25yrs and are market leaders in their field.
About the Role
You will join as a Senior Engineer and be in charge of all Engineering duties on a flagship bridge replacement scheme in Cumbria. You will be responsible for all Engineering on the project, managing a team which will include a full time Site Engineer and Assistant Engineer. This project is the most prestigious job in Cumbria and will be an excellent job to have on the CV as this bridge will be the first vehicular stainless steel bridge in the country, involving substantial temp works, cofferdams, lifting, on-site steel fabrication, RC works.
What you Need to Succeed
You must have previous experience in a Senior Engineer role on a similar scheme. You must be educated with a degree in civil engineering and have valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates. If you live out of the area but have the right experience and qualifications, a contribution will be made for living away.
