Setting Out Engineer - New Build Construction - £40,000 - 45,000 plus package

A Main Contractor who specialise in delivering new build projects up to the value of £10m. Typical projects include Hotels, pubs, health spas, restaurants and other leisure developments.

You will join as a Setting Out Engineer and be responsible for all site engineering duties across various projects. You will work closely with Site and Project Managers, and assist with some management duties when required. You will monitor the works of various sub contractors, including groundworkers, and help to ensure that health & safety is adhered to at all times.

You will work across multiple sites within 130 miles of Manchester. You will oversee initial setting out of foundations, grid lines, drainage, roads, sewers. Once initial setting out of the groundworks is completed, you may be moved across to another project to undertake similar duties. Setting out of steel frame / timber frame for the build will follow.
