About the Company
A well established group of companies with award winning specialist in house divisions covering RC Frame, Groundworks, Multi storey Basements, Demolition and Design & Build. Turnover for 2018 will exceed £120m with project values ranging from £100k to £45m. They are experiencing a sustained period of growth in their Northern Home Counties region, resulting in an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their operational team.
About the Role
You will come from a background in RC Frame and Groundworks and have 5-10yrs experience working as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager. You will be capable of taking on overall contracts Management responsibilities on 2-3 projects concurrently, reporting in to the Directors. You will have experience in both recruiting and managing site teams consisting of a Site or Project Manager, Site Engineer and Operatives. You will be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to on your sites and that they are delivered on time and within budget.
What you need to succeed
You must have a minimum of 5yrs experience in a Senior Management role and come from a background in RC Frame or Groundworks. You will be educated to a degree level, and have a proven track record of delivering RC and Groundworks packages. You must have a Black CSCS Card and SMSTS and be familiar with the construction processes in the sectors. You will be a strong man manager and be capable of running multiple teams on sites across the region.
