About the Client
A regional Main Contractor based int he North West who have a building and a civil engineering division in the group. They have secured a strong order book of work for 2019 and beyond and are looking to add experienced Site and Project Managers to their ranks.
About the Role
You will join a Site Manager and be Number 1 on a £2m major roadworks scheme in the North West. The package will run concurrently with a new build retail unit, with both projects being undertaken by the same contractor at the same time. The roadworks scheme requires you to work night shifts for 14 weeks to completion. You will be responsible for managing all contractors and sub contractors onth e scheme, and be responsible for adhering to H&S procedures, issuing of permits and plant sheets, adherence to company QA procedures, keep records of materials updated etc.
What you Need to Succeed
You must have a background in civil engineering and experience delivering roadworks schemes. You must be a strong man manager and have valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates. NRSWA is preferred. You must be available to work night shifts and be available for a quick start.
