Job Summary
Recann is currently recruiting for a truly exciting opportunity at a successful start-up company based in Manchester.
Our exclusive client is looking to hire a talented Technical Team Lead/ Back End Developer that can hit the ground running and play a pivotal role in the companies future.
The successful candidate will play a significant role in the building and future development of the team. As this is a technical lead role you are required to be hands-on with the backend.
To be considered for this position you will need:
- 5+ years of commercial development experience
- Experience in designing and building web applications in a Linux environment
- Strong scripting language experience but also experience of C/C++/Java
- Strong database skills both SQL and no NoSQL
- Strong Linux/Unix skills
- Some experience of managing and recruiting staff, or at least a strong desire to do so.
Some experience of the following would be beneficial:
-WS/Docker/PHP/Symfony/Python/MySQL/Mongo/Jira/Git/Bitbucket/ELK
-Linux on AWS
-PHP (symfony)
-Rest APIs
-ReactNative/angular
-Python
Although our client is currently very PHP orientated they are looking to use other technologies for new developments and aggressively migrate away from PHP with the right team.
