Recann is currently recruiting for a talented infrastructure Engineer to join a leading utility provider in Northampton on a contract basis.
The initial contract length is 6 months however the clients contract requirement is expected to last 2 years.
Main Purpose
The primary purpose of the role is to provide 3rd line technical support to a wide range of IT infrastructure including LAN/WAN, servers, storage, cloud services, PCs, security etc. The role will also support the Senior Systems Support Engineer with 3rd line technical projects.
The ideal candidate will have a number of years experience in Infrastructure / 3rd Line Support.
Core Technical Requirements
- Citrix (XenApp 6.5 & 7.15)
- VMware
- AD, DNS, File Server, GPO
- Application Support
- Understanding of SSL and server hardening techniques
