Plant Maintenance & Engineering Manager (based in either HOLLAND or BELGIUM)
A new vacancy for a Plant Maintenance & Engineering Manager with leading international manufacturer of high-performance materials used in a wide range of industrial markets.
Based in HOLLAND or BELGIUM, the Maintenance & Engineering will be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and buildings at its two main plants in The Low Countries, either side of the Dutch/Belgian border (with day-to-day maintenance activities being carried out by local technicians).
The job holder will also be responsible for initiating & supporting technical improvements & new developments at both of these sites. The role will report in directly to the company's CEO.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline, with at least 3yrs in in a maintenance engineering role.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good overall knowledge of mechanical & electrical engineering, and will be very "hands-on" in his/her approach.
Candidates with experience working with lathes or in CAD drawing will be of particular interest, although these aren't essential requirements. Fluent Dutch or German language skills would also be a bonus.
The role might suit an experienced maintenance engineer looking to take that next step into engineering management, as no previous experience in a supervisory role is required for the position.
This will be a permanent role based in either HOLLAND or BELGIUM, so this must be taken into consideration and suit applicants' personal circumstances.
