Job Title –Chef de Partie

If you are a Chef de Partie, looking for a new challenge and wanting to gain some Michelin standard experience then we have an opportunity for you.  Working a 50-hour week over 5 days you will be able to bring along you own existing skills to enhance the team and help build upon the high standards of quality and consistency.

The Company – Situated in the North York Moors near Thirsk is this privately owned, national award-winning Michelin and Rosette restaurant with rooms, serving seasonal, modern Yorkshire style dishes constantly evolving and featuring a very popular tasting menu.

Role:

• To ensure all meals are prepared and presented to an agreed high standard and quality.
• To assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in ensuring adequate stock levels are in place.
• To adhere to all quality control systems, food safety and risk assessments, completing all documentation required legally and by the business.
• To assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in training, guiding and mentoring staff while working in the kitchen.

Requirements:

• Proven Chef de Partie experience in an established restaurant or similar style venue
• Relevant Catering Qualifications
• Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety & COSHH
• Previous Rosette or Michelin experience preferred but not essential

Benefits – The role of Chef de Partie is a full time position based on working 50 hours a week over 5 days paying up to £23,000 a year you will also earn a share of the tips, have access to free parking on site, meals on duty and the right candidate may have access to staff accommodation for the first few months of employment, as the venue is in a rural area with no access to public transport.
