An experienced Head Chef is required for this venue between Scarborough & Whitby to work for the season, as the Head Chef you will have input into the menus and lead a small team through great focus and team work.
The Company - Set in the North Yorkshire Moors, between Scarborough & Whitby is this 18th Century Coaching Inn offering fantastic traditional homemade food and 9 en-suite bedroom
Role
- Planning Menus for the season
- Maintaining and monitoring stock levels
- Organising and developing the kitchen team
- Ensuring health & safety regualations are strictly observed
- Monitoring of the quality of the product and service provided
Requirements
- Basic NVQ in Catering
- Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum
- Experience in Head Chef or Senior Chef roles
- Experience in menu development & costings
Benefits - Full filling the role of Head Chef will require you to work 5 out of 7 days for approx 45 hours a week, the salary will be paid by the hour and is up to £15.00. At the end of the season, which is 31st October there will still be a possibility to go permanent at the venue, you will have the chance to put your mark on this renowned local venue!
