Looking for cooks, chefs & kitchen assistants to work in a factory environment in the Malton area, preparing ingredients, following recipes and cooking to large scale volume. You will benefit from full time on going hours with excellent overtime rates and options to chose from various shift patterns.
The Company –A food production factory based in the Malton area of North Yorkshire with over 20 years history in providing upwards of 150,000 ready meals based on 200 recipes.
Role:
- To work in a kitchen and food preparation environment
- Prepare ingredients
- Follow approved recipes
- Cook to a large scale
- Work as part of a team
Requirements:
- Be comfortable in a kitchen environment
- Be able to work at a good speed and in accurate manor
- Have previous experience in a food/cooking/chef related role
- Full UK Driving Licence due to the location of the venue
Benefits – Cooks chefs & kitchen assistants can benefit from on going full time hours with rates of pay increasing to National Living Wage, you will benefit from a choice of shift patterns. You will need your own transport to complete the majority of the shifts and you can benefit from good overtime rates of pay on a weekend. Once you have completed 12 weeks of employment your basic wage will increase to £9.18 per hour.
