Our client, a market leader in the Waste industry currently require 3.5 Tonne Drivers to join their successful business on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.

Duties for the position will include

  • Driving a 3.5 tonne Van
  • Colleting HAZ waste boxes
  • Dealing with Customers face to face
  • Collection of Waste from around the area
  • Nights out will be required

To be considered you must...

  • Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Have previous experience in a similar or driving role.
  • Be willing to work both in and out of the van as the job requires.
  • Be physically fit as some walking and heavy lifting may required.
  • Must be prepared to do nights out.

The role is based in Stevenage, our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, and a canteen facility is available for all staff use.

Hours of Work are 6am starts – finish (please note you will be required to do nights out, paid at £35 per night)

Rates of Pay (PAYE) £8.21 per hour

Overtime Available, opportunities for training and permanent positions available for right candidate.
