Our client, a market leader in the Postal and parcel sortation industry currently require 3.5 Tonne Drivers to join their successful business on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.
Candidates should possess the following-
- Cat B Driving License with no endorsements (No more than six points).
- Multi drop experience is preferential.
- Self-motivated and ability to work to deadlines and schedules.
- Must be able to deliver 60-80 drops per day.
- Provide a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Weekends are the busiest time so you must be flexible.
The role is a Multi drop van driver, due to this some heavy lifting will be expected. Experience of the Delivery and Postal industry is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a national well known company with great career prospects within a vastly growing industry.
The role is based in Preston, and would be commutable from the surrounding area, own transport may be beneficial. Our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, a canteen facility is available for all staff use.
Hours of Work are Monday to Friday 07:00-08:00 start times until finish.
Rates of Pay (PAYE) all drivers will be paid £8.50 per hour
Overtime is available, opportunities for training and permanent positions available for right candidate.
