Financial Analyst, Senior, Cox Business (42609) Atlanta, Georgia

Position Details
Provides analytical support for Cox Business (CB) planning/analysis, client support and field bus ops functions in order to exceed CB financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

-Creates reporting and analyses related to revenue, sales, opex and capex performance for local CB markets and/or Atlanta based functions
-Provides analytical support for forecasts, budgets and long range plans for local CB markets and/or Atlanta based functions
-Develops planning and analysis models that incorporate operational data to support driver-based, rate/volume analysis and budgeting
-Responds to ad hoc requests for financial analysis; works with accounting team to understand account-level activity
-Partners with key stakeholders to identify and assess risks and opportunities; provides guidance to adjust forecasts accordingly
-Develops reporting and analyses to quantify risks/opportunities and assists in gap plan development
-Develops business cases and sensitivity analyses for commercial products, services and business initiatives
-Interprets analysis and develops messaging to communicate to various audiences (executives, stakeholders, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
-5 years of experience in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business); 3 years of experience if candidate has an advanced degree (MS/MBA/MA)
-Excellent financial modeling skills; strong knowledge of Excel
-Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

-BS/BA degree in related discipline desired (Finance, Accounting, Business)
-Graduate degree in related discipline preferred (Accounting, Finance, Business)
-Experience in telecommunications industry
