About the Company:
- We are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join one of Australia’s leading water and environmental service providers

- Work alongside some of the most knowledgeable Managers in the water infrastructure field
You will report directly to the Site Manager and be responsible for:
- Providing engineering and technical advice to supervisors and project staff
- Ensuring relevant work packages are completed safely, to quality, on time and within budget
- Planning and managing civil engineering activities involving major subcontractors, suppliers and service providers
- Forecasting and programming
- Answering queries from client representatives regarding both general and technical issues;
- Planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project
- Actively monitoring work practices to ensure adherence to correct standards and procedures for safety and environmental performance
Skills and experience required:
- Degree qualified in Construction Management / Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years civil construction experience within the water infrastructure / wastewater sector
- Experience in mechanical installation
- Handling procurement in a timely manner
- Experience dealing with supervisors and crews onsite
