Analytical Chemist – Chemicals – North West (PM-AN00014) Cheshire, England
There is an important position as an analytical chemist working in a high-level and busy laboratory within a speciality chemistry firm based in the Cheshire region. Are you an experienced graduate chemist with prior chemical testing experience, perhaps from a placement year? Or you may have several years of experience on platforms such as HPLC or GC. If you are a strong chemist who would love working within an applications-focussed team, then this Analytical Chemist position could well be for you.
Your day to day duties as Analytical Chemist will be:
- Managing your own workload in terms of laboratory testing work
- The development of chromatographic methods
- Performing validation studies
- Liaising with other departments such as process chemistry to optimise production plant trials
A background in the following is required for the role:
- Relevant analytical chemistry experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in a chemistry field
- Method development experience is highly desirable
