Formulation Chemist – Personal Care – North West (PM-FOR00004) Chester, England
This is a fantastic opportunity for a formulation chemist to move into a speciality chemistry firm based in the Cheshire region. Are you a highly achieving graduate chemist with prior formulation experience, perhaps from a placement year? If you are a hands-on scientist who loves working within a product development team, then this Formulation Chemist position could well be for you, and offers a long contract term.
Your day to day duties as Formulation Chemist will be:
- Managing your own projects in terms of laboratory formulation work
- The development of novel testing methods to prove efficacy of ingredients or consumer claims
- Preparing data for presentation to clients
- Liaising with other departments such as technical support to optimise product success
A background in the following is required for the role:
- Relevant formulations experience in the FMCG or chemical manufacturing industry
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in a chemistry field
- Project management experience leading to new product launch is desirable
