Shift Analyst - Speciality chemicals sector – North West region (PM-AN00012) Liverpool, England
This is a great opportunity for a Shift QC Analyst with some prior industrial experience of analytical chemistry at a speciality chemical firm in the North West. The Shift QC Analyst role is ideal for recent graduates in a relevant chemistry field with a placement year industry and the successful appointment will be able to build a broad process-related skillset for excellent career progression potential.
Your day to day duties as a Shift QC Analyst will be:
- Use of analytical methods (HPLC, GC, UV/vis, autotitrations) towards in-process and quality control procedures
- Liaising with production staff to ensure reproducibility
- Maintenance and calibration of analytical laboratory equipment
You will be an ideal candidate with this background:
- A degree, or higher, in a chemistry-related field
- A track record in analytical chemistry in the laboratory
- Locally-based in the North West region due to the night shift aspect
