Our Client, global leader in energy from waste Industry, is looking for a Quality & Expediting Manager with the following details:
Location : Bangkok, Thailand
Status : Resident
Mobilization : July 2018
Duration : 24 Months
Educational Requirement/Experience:
- Relevant professional experience in plant or in one of the sub-boiler, steel, equipment, piping
- Welding Technical training (eg Welding Specialist, Welding Engineer)
- Relevant professional experience as a construction, assembly or IB head in plant / power plant construction - Qualified ISO9001 lead auditor
- Organizational skills and lateral thinking
Project experience:
- Good market and product knowledge
- Can use the experience to recognize and execute each possible path
- Bring experience with the use of standardized methods in order to recognize complex problems
- Can the use of policies, regulations and rules to make its task independently
- Supports the project team and the department in achieving objectives [Competence]
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
- Excellent English skills - Self-management and methodology
- Problem solving methodology
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques in accordance with recognized training (eg EN 473)
- Knowledge of the relevant regulations and standards that are to be considered in plant
- Knowledge and experience in the handling of the current project management systems and tool
Job Description:
- Ensure the implementation of supplier Monitoring (Quality & Delivery)
- Enforcement of the prescribed QA / QC measures / procedures including inspection of Supplier &associated orders
- Ensures that required inspections with Suppliers & Authorities are organized and carried out on time
- Ensures that required certificates are available and valid
- Ensures that approved testing equipment, calibrated and used properly
- Coordination of all inspections at supplier site (Quality & Expediting)
- Ensures Supplier delivery Reports match actual manufacturing progress
- Timely implementation of the tasks related to this function
- Site management and PQM actively informed about the status of quality & expediting measures, inc. highlighting any issues and potential solutions
- Right of access to project information, which is necessary to fulfill the function
- Keep yourself up to date with regard to the relevant statutory regulations and technical standards
- Business trip to supplier’s workshop in South East Asian countries, required for all the job description above (The estimated frequency will be about twice a month.)
