Our Client, a global specialist in the offshore oil and gas industry is looking for a Commissioning Manager with the following details:
Location : Al Khobar , offshore location is Safaniyah Saudi Arabia
Status : Rotation
Mobilization : ASAP
Duration : 9 Months
Working Schedule : 90 days on 15 days off

Educational Requirement:
- University degree/certificate in Electrical Theory
- Trade School certificate related to Electrical and or Industrial Instrumentation Construction
- Fluent speaking, reading and writing in the English language
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 8 year electrical experience in a Petrochemical environment or 5 years of relevant offshore experience
Previous experience working on SAUDI ARAMCO projects
Proficient in reading and interrupting:
- Electrical One Line Diagrams
- Electrical Wiring Diagrams
- Electrical Wiring Schematics
- Electrical Cable Schedules
- Electrical Equipment Layout Diagrams
- Electrical Equipment Installation Detail Drawings
- Proficient in reading and interrupting:
- P&ID Drawings
- Instrument Cable Block Diagrams
- Instrument Loop Diagrams
- Instrument Points and Layout Diagrams
- Instrument Installation Detail Drawings
- Basic electrical circuitry and terminations of but not limited to:
- 480VAC power systems
- 24VDC power systems
- Motor control power circuits
- 24VDC battery power systems
- Fire &Gas detection systems
- Lighting systems, Grounding systems, Installation, Testing
- Proficient in Meg-Ohm testing: Power Cables, Control Cables, Instrument Cables, Instrument Piping (Pneumatic/Hydraulic Tubing), Installation, Testing, Electrical Equipment, Installation, Testing, Instrument Equipment, Installation, Testing, Working in a live plant environment
Job Description:
- Ensures compliance with all Company and SAUDI ARAMCO safety rules and procedures
- Ensures compliance with Company LOTO procedures
- Ensures Compliance with all DYN and SAUDI ARAMCO construction procedures
- Ensures compliance with all Company and SAUDI ARAMCO QA/OQ requirements
- Coordinates and supervises work fronts on the platform as directed from the Company E&I Supervisor
- Responsible for E&I work crews on the platform as the front line supervisor
- Oversees E&I materials, tools and electrical construction equipment
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report to E&I Supervisor on the daily progress of E&I work fronts
- Provide input into daily, weekly and monthly reports to the E&I Supervisor as necessary
- HSES Responsibilities
- Attend Daily Tool Box Meeting
- Report any and all incidents, accidents and or injuries immediately upon occurrence
- Participation in Company BBS program
- Preform weekly Company JSEA audits
- Participation in weekly Company hazard hunts
- Meeting Requirements
- Daily Tool Box Meeting
- Daily progress updates with Company E&I Supervisor
- Weekly Safety Meeting
