With several large projects finishing up in Christchurch lately there seems to be an over supply of Electricians in the market. Yet places like Auckland are literally screaming out for experienced tradesmen.
If you are an Electrician who is out of work or worried about your job security, then I want to talk with you about opportunities I have in Auckland and other centers around New Zealand.
I am currently working with several Electrical companies who are on the hunt for experienced Electricians to join their team. They are willing to pay a top hour’s rate, and, in some cases, they would be willing to offer a relocation allowance and assist with initial accommodation.
Most of the work I am looking to fill is in the commercial space so experience in the area is preferred.
Skills and attributes, I am looking for:
- NZ Registered with current practicing license
- Experienced in domestic, commercial and/or industrial installation
- Ability to work unsupervised and able to organize others
- Current NZ EWRB license
- High standard of workmanship
- Customer Focused
- Be self-driven and motivated
- Be a team player
- Have a full driver’s license
- Experience working in hospitals, schools, apartments and office spaces would be an advantage
- Valid work visa for New Zealand
- Good references and be able to pass drug test
