Location:  Chesterfield, England
Salary:  GBP50 - GBP55 per day





Celsian Education are seeking to appoint a well motivated, enthusiastic part time Bilingual Slovak/Czech Teaching Assistant/Clerical Assistant to work 27.5 hours per week, term time.
The main purpose of the post is to support the families and children across the Sheffield Primary School to access information and provide support for the children’s learning. The successful candidate will work under the instruction/guidance of the Senior Leadership Team/Senior admin officer or teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable Slovak/Czech speaking children to access the learning opportunities and to assist with the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. We are looking for a bilingual worker who can translate spoken and written English into Slovak/Czech to improve the learning opportunities for children and to support the communication with parents/carers.

You will need to:
· Speak Slovak/Czech and English fluently
· Be able to accurately translate written and spoken English into Slovak/Czech
· Be an enthusiastic and caring person
· Be able to support children in their learning and achievement
· Have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification recognized in the UK for Teaching Assistants/Child development
· Have good communication and interpersonal skills
· Have a professional and mature attitude
· Be self-motivated
· Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
