Advivo are working on a major project near Whitby in search for a Procurement Assistant to support the team on a permanent basis. My client will pay in the region of £25,000 to £30,000 for the right candidate.
The Role will focus on purchasing and acquiring relevant equipment including goods, services & tools. A key priority will be liaising with the operational and project teams to understand the needs and requirements.
The role will also include procuring the necessary items or services by:
- Identifying suppliers
- Investigate pricing
- Carrying out purchases in line with company framework
My client is looking for the following attributes:
- Knowledge and experience of "purchase to pay" processes
- Excellent customer interaction skills both internally and externally
- Organised i.e. capturing information, quotations, etc
- Experience of working with ERP systems is advantageous
- Basic Excel knowledge and experience
