Advivo are now working with an exciting multi-national business based in Coventry in search of someone with experience in Financial Accounting and Controls. 

This will be a 1 year fixed term contract, with potential to go longer depending on the requirement of the business.

My client is paying up to £42,000 for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include

• Complex regulatory reporting with multiple local country & US specific requirements
• Monthly reviews and detailed analysis on revenue / expenses i.e. contracts, bad debts, salaries
• Supports the team in controlling significant reserves with departments (Sales, Insurance, Marketing).
• Provides advice on the correct accounting for inclusion on an actual and forecast basis, and makes checks to ensure these have been applied
• Evaluates and identifies any financial risks, compliance or control issues
• Performs a systematic review of Corporate policies and US GAAP standards in accordance with guidelines
• Financial control, creating robust processes and controls in line with business needs
• Audit reviewing
• Financial analysis and reporting

The ideal candidate must be;

• ACA or ACCA qualified or reasonable level of working experience in line with the responsibilities
• Thorough understanding of financial accounting i.e. double entry, reconciliations, credits/debits
• Extremely organised, well planned and manages work load effectively and responsibly
• Intermediate MS Excel including large data sets, look ups, pivots,
• Good communicator, ability to be inquisitive and translate information
