Advivo are now working with an exciting multi-national business based in Coventry in search of a Financial Accountant to support the existing function. 

The team are going through some positive growth with new contracts pending so will be recruiting more talent over the coming weeks.

My client is paying up to £42,000 for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include;

• Co-ordinates defined parts of the accounting process for a in line with contractual & regulatory requirements
• VAT returns in accordance with local procedures.
• Supports the development of accurate yield estimates of un-billed packages by performing analysis
• Supports effective accounts payable & payroll processes
• Ensures effective cash management by reviewing the cash position & ensuring sufficient funding is available to meet business needs
• Loss trend reviews, accrual entries, inter-co, accounts payable close, pensions accounts and subsequent reporting
• Supports legal and regulatory compliance
• Audit work

The ideal candidate must be;

• ACA or ACCA qualified or reasonable level of working experience in line with the responsibilities
• Thorough understanding of financial accounting i.e. double entry, reconciliations, credits/debits
• Extremely organised, well planned and manages work load effectively and responsibly
• Intermediate MS Excel including large data sets, look ups, pivots,
• Good communicator, ability to be inquisitive and translate information
