Pay Range: Base $13.01 Midpoint Base: $16.26, plus variable opportunity
Store Hours: Mon-Fri 9-7 Sat 10-4
Will support several retail locations across KS. Ability to travel required.
Cox Communications is looking for a technically knowledgeable Solutions Educator to support product sales efforts by serving as the store expert on the latest product features, services, and accessories. As part of this critical role, the Solutions Educator will be provided learning opportunities to maintain their expertise and must be able to translate how product capabilities address various customer needs. This individual will also have responsibility to sell accessories and add-on features while supplementing new customer solutions or satisfying existing customer requests. Ensuring a seamless customer experience, the Solutions Educator is also responsible for helping to assist customers making monthly service payments.
As an integral member of the sales team, this role requires strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The Solutions Educator is also accountable for providing in-house technical support to customers within a Cox Solutions Store, related to cable, data, voice and wireless product offerings. Works with customers to solve technical problems with various Cox products and conduct light triage work on wireless phones. These tasks are accomplished by providing prompt and friendly troubleshooting, diagnostic, and upgrade services as appropriate. Additional responsibilities include maintenance of customer request files, preparation of reports for analysis of trends and services as required, and warranty processes for Cox products.

Build customer loyalty through offering product suggestions to solve customers wants and show customers how to meet their needs with Cox products
Politely refer customer to appropriate Solutions Specialist when needed and ensure customers are satisfied with actions taken to resolve problems
Facilitate engaging and interactive Learning Lounge discussions with customers
Provide a consistent customer experience through keeping records of all customer interactions and services provided
Create a positive experience for customers through ensuring the sales floor and Learning Lounge remain visually appealing
Assist with sales floor up-keep, store cleanliness, sales floor inventory counts and stock replenishment
Perform light triage work to repair and troubleshoot equipment and accessories
Educate customer by demonstrating product features and updating software for all products, including wireless cable, voice, and data products capabilities as needed
Aid and inform customers in purchasing accessories and add-on features
Build customer trust through demonstrating a superior level of product and software knowledge
Courteously respond to and resolve customer inquiries, problems, and complaints
High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience
3 years of retail, sales, product service support, customer service, electronics or testing experience
Must have reliable, consistent transportation and ability to work at a variety of retail locations
Requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record in accordance to Cox driving policy.
Eligibility to work in the United States
Ability to meet established sales targets
Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet and assist customers
Technical understanding and working knowledge of the cable, voice, data, and wireless communications industries as well as current and emerging technologies desired
Cash handling and previous billing system experience is preferred
Willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
