Salary: GBP90000 - GBP100000 per annum

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of BI to join an award-winning fintech business, and one of Sunday Times' Best Small Companies to Work for! This company empowers its customers to make better financial decisions with industry-leading tools, and they're now looking for a Head of BI to help define and implement their strategic vision moving forward. 

You'll be creating and implementing the BI strategy, utilising best practices and the right technology to provide insights, analysis and reporting across the business. You'll be leading a small team of direct reports, as well as overseeing functional analysts across the company.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to evaluate objectives and define KPIs
  • Building, leading and developing the Business Intelligence team, and providing input into progression frameworks, onboarding and training materials
  • Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider business, acting as a strategic advisor
  • Owning the reporting framework and managing the process of timely, high quality reports and insights
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for the customer lifecycle, performance funnels and data tracking

What you're great at:

  • 7+ years experience in analysis and reporting
  • Solid hands-on knowledge of SQL
  • Exceptional business acumen and a strong understanding of what drives business value in consumer applications
  • Awareness of the latest tools and technologies in BI, with an understanding of how to best use them in agile environments
  • Excellent communicator and presenter, with the ability to influence across the business
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead direct reports using a hands-on approach
  • Project management and service delivery experience, with the ability to effectively manage priorities to meet stakeholder needs
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, agile team


Bonus points for:

  • Experience in consumer finance or ecommerce sectors
  • Experience using R or Python for data analysis
  • Experience with Looker, Snowflake and/or Redshift
