Do you want to work for a well-established, expanding company? Going through a great period of growth, this company is now looking for an experienced Regulatory Specialist to join their team based in Manchester.

 

Providing support to the QA/Technical department, you will be responsible for testing and measuring the performance of products and processes in line with Legal, QMS and customer requirements. Reporting details to QA Manager and assisting in the application of corrective and preventative action.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategy for product launch and submitting new registrations, back-back and amendment request in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing and assessing initial product samples from buyers and making recommendations for modifications to products if deemed necessary.
  • Compiling and maintaining 'Product Technical Files’ in accordance with the relevant SOP
  • Preparing product labels in line with latest Cosmetic Regulation and working with other departments to obtain information to include on the product label related to relevant regulation
  • Being cognisant of the latest developments in the relevant regulations such and interpreting and advising the consequences to other stakeholder in order to be compliant.
  • Working with external agencies and testing houses to perform data gap analysis on missing reports/data to compile and prepare a Product Information Pack and registering cosmetic products in CPNP.
  • Issuing Labelling Sec for Cosmetic and Personal care Products to the Marketing and Buying
  • The role will require working in conjunction with the buying/Marketing, Purchasing and Transport Department
  • Artwork reviews
  • Reviewing product packaging and artwork to ensure it meets our quality standards and is suitable for placing on the market.
  • Ability to generate analysis and review the Safety Data Sheet.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Chemistry graduate or relevant science
  • Experience in a similar role essential
