Our client, a leading passive fire protection organisation, require an experienced passive fire protection surveyor to survey jobs and manage operatives carrying out fire protection works to sheltered accommodation, high rise flats, hotels and hospitals across the UK. Our client carry out works as far North as Newcastle and as far down as Bristol so you must be prepared to travel.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of fire stopping procedures and products, including, batt, mastic, fire seals & flexible cavity barriers, intumescent painting/spraying, etc
You will have the ability to read technical drawings and be a clear communicator to liaise with the site team. It is likely that you will be required to work in a customer facing environment and as such, we require someone who is polite, presentable and carries themselves in a professional manner at all times.
On occasion, you may be asked to work out of normal working hours where necessary
You will have a minimum of 2 years fire stopping experience, CSCS, own transport, NVQ2/3 Passive Fire Protection, SSSTS or FIRAS accreditation. Pasma and IPAF are desirable
