Our client is a global technology organisation, currently in need of a Security Lead to deliver security requirements against a cluster of UK Government accounts. Due to the nature of this role it would be beneficial to have SC clearance in place however candidates who are eligible and willing to go through the clearance process will be considered.
The role;
Security Lead delivering the security requirements for the various application and infrastructure services being provided to the multiple UK government clients. Implement and maintain security policies and requirements associated with these services. Maintain an awareness of the implications of legislated requirements that impact security. Advise on ISO Compliance, GDPR, Cyber Security and Cloud Infrastructure. Manage, train and mentor the account cluster Security Team members.
Project description;
Our client are contracted to deliver a range of Application Development and Application Maintenance services as well as DevOps and Infrastructure services for new and existing applications for multiple UK central government accounts.
Required skills;
• Understanding the overall security architecture and identifying implications for the clients components of the account cluster accounts and any new clients
• Experience of Security Architecture consultancy
• Experience of leading a team of Junior Security Analysts
• Understanding the UK Government security principles and their implications including ISO requirements, Cyber Security and Cloud Infrastructure.
• CLAS Consultant (or equivalent)
Nice to have skills;
• Up to date awareness of the implications of legislated requirements that impact security for UK government services.
• Ability to advise on GDPR.
