We are currently recruiting Manual Grinders and Barinder Operators to provide full and flexible support to the finishing area of the foundry for a leading manufacturer in Walsall.
Duties & responsibilities - Grinder:
Understand and follow product work instructions
Good hand eye coordination and dexterity
Train colleagues when requested to agreed company standards in working practices and processes
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Ensure all work is carried out in prompt and timely manner
Support in ensuring staff adhere to Health & safety and Environmental procedures
Support team members in identification of improvement activities and problem solving
Understand and follow Quality procedures and documentation
Competent in the use of ABB robots
Maintaining good working relations
Competent in the operation/function of small hand grinders hand air tools
Competent in the use of Barinder grinding machines
Competent in the use of Pedestal hand grinders
