Role Purpose

  • To provide effective analytical support to the GSSM Technology supplier management team.
  • To undertake supplier management responsibilities for a number of suppliers.

 Person Specification

Experience required:

  • Experience of working with complex data
  • Experience of providing high quality Management Information
  • Experience of managing suppliers

 Skills and Knowledge:

  • Can demonstrate strong data analysis skills
  • Capability to delivery highly accurate reporting
  • Proven relationship management skills both internal and external
  • Able to form effective relationships quickly , and develop collaborative working relationships across the organisation
  • Can drive value through technology supplier relationships

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Perform detailed analysis of management information relating to technology suppliers to support sourcing and supplier management strategy
  • Delivery of accurate and timely reporting
  • Responsible for performing on-going supplier management and assurance activities across a portfolio of low to medium complexity Technology suppliers to help the bank effectively manage service performance, cost and risk in its supply chain
  • Manage the internal and external stakeholders relationships for your portfolio/supplier in conjunction with other key parties 

MI provision/Data analysis

  • Delivery of standard reporting and any supporting deep dive analysis
  • Support development of MI and material for supplier reviews including aggregate view of contracts, risks and commercials
  • Ensure necessary quality controls and validations are in place in the delivery of MI.
  • Identification of data issues across current environment and establish resolution plans with data owners.
  • Design continuous improvements into MI deliverables, and seek out efficient and effective methods of delivery.

 Supplier management

  • Lead supplier management activity for a number of Medium and Medium-Lite risk suppliers in accordance with the Sourcing & Supplier Management Policy (SSMP) and Supplier Management Standard
  • Provide accurate and timely tracking and monitoring of supplier related activities
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Develop and manages relationships with key stakeholders, maintaining an accurate view of stakeholders at all times
  • Serve as the key point of contact (both internally and externally) on all matters related to the suppliers managed
  • Measure internal customer satisfaction for input into supplier evaluation/reviews
