Business Development Manager (BBBH2877) London, England
This role is to account manage, upsell and develop new business across the european region, for EnergyCredit, Temenos's specialist Energy Trading and Risk Management software portfolio.
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage the existing pipeline of prospects and generate new sales opportunities within EMEA
- Identification and qualification of new opportunities
- Proving our solution fit to clients requirements
- Presenting our solution to clients
- Establishing business case and value proposition
- Negotiation and closing of deals
- Providing input to marketing and product development
- Providing competitive and SWOT analysis to management
- Managing the end to end sales process
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of the energy trading market and credit risk management as a discipline
- Experience of working within the Energy sector (software or energy trading)
- Minimum 5 years sales experience, selling high value enterprise wide software
- Confident, articulate and presentable professional
- Track record of closing business application license sales to new clients
- Managed sales in UK and Europe
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to deal with C level executives and senior managers
You will need to be flexible and creative, a self sufficient individual who can act independently and in multiple roles within a team. This role will offer the right person, lots of independnce and the oppportunity to operate within an already large client portfolio, across a significant sized territory for Temenos.
