Agency Trainer

We are recruiting for an Agency Trainer,  this new role we are seeking an individual who loves to help others to

develop in their role and is passionate about ongoing learning and development. 

This individual will help to support the management teams by ensuring that all colleagues are fully competent in their roles.

Within the Agency Trainer role you will be working in a modern and clean warehouse environment.

Some of the Key Responsibilities

• Deliver manual handling training to all new staff and support the management team in any manual handling training needs
• Assist Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers in managing underperformance through actively coaching individuals deemed to be underperforming by the management team
• Is a custodian of the training paperwork trail and ensures that all training paperwork is completed to a high standard in all instances
• Share best practice and communicate ideas in order to constantly develop the training provision within the DC
• To be a role model for standards of safety, product care and Key Performance Indicators; To regularly update Team Leaders, Supervisors and Management on how new starters are progressing and provide them with summary training records
• To attend regular site Trainer Meetings to share best practice and discuss ways of improving the overall site training provision
• To participate in any other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the business
• Working Hours:
• Nights – 18:00 – 06:00
• on a 4 on 4 off rota
• Location: Kingsway Business Park Rochdale

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Good Presentation skills
• Great organisation skills & the ability to work well under pressure
• Multi-skilled in a variety of warehousing/distribution tasks
• Experience in a similar role. (Desirable)
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. (Desirable)
