Food Production Operative
We are currently recruiting for Food Production Operative roles for our new client in Skelmersdale, who process fresh salad for the leading supermarkets.
You will enjoy working as part of a friendly and supportive team in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have previous food production experience (not essential) and be comfortable working within a fresh food setting. The factory area in which you will be working in, is a chilled environment and all workers will support a clean as you go policy. All PPE is provided.
As a Food Production Operative your duties will include:
- Working on a fast paced production line within a busy fresh food environment
- Trimming and carrying out quality checks
- Packing products into correct packaging
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Working to company deadlines and targets
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene in production area by cleaning under supervision
Details:
- Salary: Days-£7.90, Overtime at £11.85
- Working Hours of Food Production Operative are up to 12 hours per shift with 5am starts and a 4 on 2 off pattern. Flexibility of days available would be advantageous. The facility runs 7 days per week
- Location: Skelmersdale, West Lancashire
- Duration: Ongoing
- Overtime after 45 hours
