Shift coordinator
We are recruiting for a Shift coordinator to work in our on site office at our clients food factory in Kiveton park Sheffield.
As a Shift coordinator you will need to have:
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Good interactive team skills
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Keen eye for detail
- The ability to think and react quickly to customer needs
- Ability to speak to people at different levels with confidence
- Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to a flexible approach to the working day
- Good knowledge of MS office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Details:
- Pay: £9.21 per hour
- Working Hours:
Thursday 05:00-10:00
Friday – 05:00-14:00
Saturday – 05:00-07:00 & 12:00-16:00
Sunday -05:00-07:00 & 12:00-16:00
Total of 24 hours
- Location: Kiveton Park S265PF
- Duration: Ongoing
- Due to the location you will either need to live locally or drive
Role of a Shift coordinator:
- Responsible for booking flexi workers for shifts
- Signing in flexi workers at start of shift then completing factory floor checks ensuring workers are in the correct area and have the correct PPE on
- Take responsibility for Flexi Workers whilst on assignment for Single Resource and provide basic line management including disciplinary, performance management and grievance
- Complete weekly payroll, handling and resolving Flexi Worker pay queries in a timely manner
- Updating of reports using excel
- Be the point of contact over the weekend
- Interviewing & inducting new flexi workers
- Assist line manager to ensure that the maximum number of vacancies are filled
- Assist line manager in ensuring adherence to the Company & Client policies and procedures
- Training of flexi workers
- Carry out such other reasonable duties as are required by your line manager
