Castle Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Electrically biased maintenance engineer to join a fast moving packaging business. The successful engineer will ideally be multi-skilled, have worked within packaging, FMCG or food sectors before and be time served. Our client is a leading packaging specialist and can offer excellent training and development and career progression.
Your responsibilities as the Maintenance Engineer will be:
- Carry out planned maintenance on plant & equipment to a high standard
- Respond to breakdowns on Production machines
- Install and relocate production equipment
- Specify & order spare parts
- Complete maintenance records
- Complete all paperwork required to place orders and book in parts
- Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings
- Carry out Electrical Fault Finding
- Carry out basic Mechanical Fault finding
- Carry out basic Pneumatic/hydraulic Fault Finding
- Record work carried out on a daily Time Sheet
The successful candidate will be time served with a a recognised electrical qualification. You will have worked within a food packaging / production or FMCG business and be able to work at pace and under pressure. You will be highly motivated and a proactive engineer who is looking for career progression.
