Electrical/Mechanical Assembly

We are recruiting for a number of Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Operatives to join a highly successful ISO accredited company based in York, offering a package with excellent company benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

• Manufacturing and repairing electrical/mechanical products for new and existing customers
• Soldering
• Inspections of completed parts ensuring compliance
• Basic wiring of components
• Testing of completed products

We would be keen to speak with anyone with an Electrical or Mechanical aptitude who has had experience working within Assembling small parts, this being during the production or manufacturing process. We would also be keen to speak with students who have recently completed relevant qualifications.

This would be working Monday to Friday, on a two-week rotating shift from 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm. This would be earning £9. 56 per hour, with enhanced rates for the afternoon shift. The pay rates would then increase on completion of your probation period.

This would be on a temporary basis with the opportunity for it to become permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
